Custom Order Policy

Every My Mirroring piece is custom-made specifically for each client using the photos, measurements, and details provided with the order. Because each piece is made individually, this policy is designed to clearly explain what happens before production, after CAD approval, and in the event of a confirmed manufacturing issue.

What Is a CAD?

A CAD is a digital 3D rendering of your design. It allows you to review the structure, proportions, and key details before production begins.

Quick Summary

  • Every piece is custom-made for your order
  • You will receive a CAD design for review before production begins
  • Orders cannot be canceled or refunded after CAD approval
  • Manufacturing concerns must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
  • Customers are responsible for submitting the correct size and reference details
  • Exact 1:1 duplication is not always possible
  • We do not replicate branded, trademarked, or counterfeit designs

Custom-Made Pieces

Every Mirroring is custom-made specifically for each client based on the photos, measurements, and information provided. Because each piece is produced individually, custom orders are made to order and are not considered standard returnable merchandise.

CAD Approval & Order Finalization

Before production begins, you will receive a CAD rendering of your design for review.

The CAD allows you to confirm the overall structure and key details of the piece before it moves into production.

Once your CAD is approved, your order is considered final.
After CAD approval:

  • the order cannot be canceled
  • the order cannot be refunded
  • production begins based on the approved design

If revision requests are made before approval, we will do our best to incorporate them within reason during the CAD stage.

Cancellations

Orders may only be canceled before CAD work has begun.

If CAD work has already started, CAD-related design fees may be non-refundable. Once the CAD has been approved and production begins, the order is final and cannot be canceled or refunded.

Production Timeline

Production typically takes approximately 2–4 weeks from CAD approval, followed by shipping.

Each piece is handcrafted and individually produced. My Mirroring jewelry is not mass produced, and timelines may vary depending on design complexity, communication speed, and material selection.

About Your Mirroring

Mirroring pieces are custom-made, travel-safe recreations designed to resemble the look of your original ring or jewelry piece as closely as possible based on the photos, measurements, and details you provide.

Depending on the design and material selected, pieces may be produced using:

  • 925 sterling silver
  • white, yellow, or rose gold plating
  • two-tone finishes
  • solid gold
  • platinum
  • cubic zirconia
  • moissanite
  • lab-grown diamonds
  • lab-grown gems
  • simulated fancy colored stones

Because these materials may differ from solid gold or natural diamonds, the weight, feel, durability, and light performance may vary from your original piece.

Our goal is to recreate the visual appearance of your piece as accurately as possible based on the information submitted.

Accuracy & Customer-Provided Information

Because the design process relies on customer-provided photos, dimensions, certificates, and stone details, an exact 1:1 duplicate is not always possible.

The accuracy of the final piece depends heavily on the quality and completeness of the information submitted.

For the best possible result, we strongly recommend providing:

  • clear photos from multiple angles
  • ring size or relevant measurements, where applicable
  • center stone dimensions
  • side stone details, if known
  • certificates or specifications, if available
  • any important design notes

If exact stone measurements or specifications are not available, My Mirroring may rely on customer photos and visual references to estimate proportions and design details. These estimates will be reflected in the CAD for customer review before production begins.

The more accurate the information provided, the more accurate your Mirroring can be.

What Happens After You Order

Once your order is processed, you will receive an email with clear instructions on how to submit your:

  • ring or jewelry photos
  • ring size or relevant measurements
  • stone details
  • design notes
  • certificates or measurements, if available

Our team will review your submission and begin your CAD process once all required details are received.

If additional information is needed to move forward, timely customer response is required to avoid delays.

Size Responsibility

Customers are responsible for submitting the correct size or measurements when placing an order.

If resizing or adjustment is required because incorrect information was submitted, services may be available for an additional fee depending on the design. Because some designs are more complex than others, not all pieces may be eligible for resizing or adjustment after production.

Manufacturing Issues

Every piece goes through a quality inspection before shipping.

If you believe your order has a manufacturing defect, you must contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include clear photos or video showing the issue.

If a confirmed manufacturing issue is found, we will determine the appropriate solution, which may include:

  • repair
  • adjustment
  • remake of the piece

This applies only to confirmed manufacturing defects and does not apply to:

  • differences caused by customer-submitted sizing or measurement
    errors
  • expected material differences
  • design expectations not supported by the submitted reference
    information
  • normal variation in custom-made pieces

Branded Designs

My Mirroring does not replicate branded, trademarked, or counterfeit designs.

We reserve the right to decline any order that involves protected brand design elements or designs that violate intellectual property standards.
