A Proposal Mirroring separates the two. You propose with a beautiful ring made to a design you already know she'd love. She says yes. Then you choose the forever ring together, with no pressure, no guessing and no secret returns.
How a Proposal Mirroring works
The same process we use to replicate engagement rings, pointed at the ring she hasn't received yet. You send photos of a design; our designer builds a 3D model; nothing is made until you approve it.

A ring she's saved or pointed out, a jeweler's listing, a photo from a friend's hand, or one of our past Mirrorings. Add her ring size if you know it.
Approve the 3D design
Your first CAD within 1–3 business days. Look at it from every angle and ask for changes. Unlimited revisions until it's right.
Handmade, then delivered

What it is, honestly
A Proposal Mirroring is not a diamond ring and we never pretend it is. It is 925 sterling silver, plated in white, yellow or rose gold (or left silver), with a simulated diamond center stone. Depending on the shape and setting, that stone may be cubic zirconia, moissanite or another high-quality simulant; we pick the one that makes your ring look best.
From across a table nobody can tell. Up close, a trained eye may notice the stone. That is fine, because the plan is the point: you tell her after the yes that the forever ring is the one you'll choose together.
Laboratory-grown diamond and solid gold are available by quote if you'd rather the stand-in be fine jewelry too.
Don't know her ring size?
Most people proposing don't. A few ways to find out without asking: borrow a ring she already wears on that finger for an afternoon and trace the inside on paper, or take it to any jeweler for a size. Her mother or a close friend often knows. If she's ever ordered a ring online, the confirmation email has it.
If you're still unsure, tell us what you know and we'll help you settle on a size before the design is finalized. You approve everything, including the size, before anything is made.
Questions people ask before proposing
I don't have a specific ring in mind. Can you still help?
Yes. Send us anything she's reacted to — a saved post, a screenshot, a style she's mentioned — or pick a shape from our past Mirrorings. Our designer works from there and you approve the 3D design before we make it.
Will she know it isn't a diamond?
Not from across the room. Up close, possibly. You'll be telling her the plan after the yes anyway: propose with the Mirroring, choose the forever ring together.
How long does it take?
Your first 3D design within 1–3 business days, then production of about 2–4 weeks after you approve it. If your date is close, choose priority production when you order and tell us the date.
Can I have the same design made as the forever ring?
That's between you, her and the jeweler you choose together. And once the forever ring exists, we can mirror that one too, so she has a travel version of the real thing.
What if we end up loving the Mirroring?
Then she keeps wearing it. Every Mirroring is made to be worn every day; the forever ring can take its time.
Is the price different from a regular Mirroring?
No. It's the same custom ring and the same process. One price, everything included, on the product page.
